Jinan International Convention and Exhibition Center is located in Jinan Innovation Zone, the most modern business area in Jinan featuring the strongest aggregation force. It boasts a superior geographical location and convenient transportation, with Gongye South Road, the main road of the urban area in the south, the belt expressway connecting Jinan-Qingdao Expressway and Beijing-Fuzhou Expressway to the east, and the East Second Ring Roadto the west. It was built and put into use in 2005.

Jinan International Convention and Exhibition Center features magnificent architecture and complete, advanced supporting facilities. With a construction area of 150,000 square meters, and an indoor exhibition area of nearly 40,000 square meters, it has 9 exhibition halls in the three zones of B, C and D which can hold nearly 2,000 international standard booths. The outdoor square covers an area of 100,000 square meters. The Center has one 700-seat international lecture hall and 11 multi-function halls, conference rooms and VIP halls of different types and sizes. The exhibition areas can not only be used at the same time, but also can be used separately based on different needs, so that exhibitions of various scales can be held here. The outdoor technology and culture square covers an area of 100,000 square meters. With an exhibition area of 20,000 square meters, it can hold 1,000 international standard booths. The music fountain system is also equipped and can be used for all kinds of large-scale activities.

Jinan International Convention and Exhibition Center is equipped with automatic monitoring, automatic fire alarm and automatic spraying system, as well as on-the-spot visual, audio broadcasting and simultaneous interpretation system, and systems of communication, computer networks and public broadcasting, as well as central air conditioning, escalators, and security monitoring system. It adopts intelligent management, featuring advanced equipment and complete functions.
